There are three things you need to know to get great at hyping your own work.
🚀1.Remember what is your ultimate business goal Too often I see founders think about PR for ego, not what will actually serves them.
🧙♀️2.Pitch craft. Anyone can fire off 1,000 ChatGPT, one-size-fits-no-one pitches. We need more quality.
👀 3.The hidden opportunity. If you get a response, even if it is a no, there is an opportunity there.
I'm going to spend Q1 in The Hype paid readership looking at how we can get better at 1&2.
And today, I want to share Eleanor’s story who ticks the hidden opportunity box.
Learn what steps she took to become a radio host and how that led to me being her first guest on her Do Radio Show this Monday.
💡We’ll be exploring my experience of “living the dream” and moving from city life to rural France. Yes, that dream… or is it?
I’m going live on Monday. You can catch me live with Eleanor at:
Monday 12th January 2025: 6am, 2pm, 10pm

A rejection that came back eight years later
In December 2025, I was hosting a goal-setting and Q&A call with my paid readers, asking them to share their wins, when Eleanor casually mentioned she was about to host her own radio show on Do Radio.
I started my own newsletter after attending a Do Open workshop and I’m a long-time fan of The Do Lectures so my ears pricked up.
I didn’t expect what Eleanor was about to say next.
